This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are great second graders. They are very energetic and very eager to learn. My students are at the age where they love school. My students enjoy reading all kinds of material. My students live in a part of the city which is considered high poverty and high crime. On a daily basis my students are worried about if they will make it home safely.
My students are very eager to learn about the world around them.
My students enjoy doing small group projects in various parts of our classroom. Our classroom needs a special place where they can meet and work on essential science projects.
My Project
The material I am requesting is a digital resource where kids can access from anywhere. The resources are from teacher pay teachers. My kids have something called asynchronous time in which they work on skills taught virtual.
My kids are able to write directly on the document to practice the skills needed to be successful in the near future.
Because some are my kids are virtual and some are in person, I want them to be able to have the same work to do in both settings.
With this digital resource I am able to create group projects where they can share ideas. I have been using this resource but it gets rather costly. My kids love this resource.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
