This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our school, located in West Englewood, teaches Arabic and Chinese to a diverse student population. Each year nearly 400 students work towards mastering the Arabic language at our school, which has one of the largest Arabic language programs for high school students in the US.
In order to best serve our student population, we need the tools to support their education and learning.
Having access to technology in the classroom can make a world of difference. This would eliminate the need for students to rely on their phones for research, games, and enrichment activities.

Having a headset can make a world of difference in my classroom. This would eliminate the need for students to use their computer microphone and speakers and reduce background noise so everyone can hear clearly and speak with each other.
