Help me give my students Healthy Snack Variety Packs to help stay energized for the long day in front of the computer. A hungry Kindergartener is not a Kindergartener that is ready to learn.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
The students in my kindergarten classroom, on the southeast side of Chicago, are amazing. Listening to their conversations while they are participating in an exploration lesson proves to me, time and time again, that active learning is taking place.
My students love to learn using hands-on activities, real-world experiences, and technology.
Young children are constantly learning! Kindergarten is very much a transition age in which children are learning to be independent. They are ready to explore their environment and are buzzing with ideas on how the world works. Providing them with resources to explore and experience the world is fundamental to their future.
My Project
Hello! My students work very hard although we are not in a traditional classroom setting due to the COVID pandemic. They sing, read, paint, construct, dance, add, support one another, and get HUNGRY! When I saw this match offer, I thought it would be great to give all of my little one's some healthy snacks to tide them over until dinner (or lunch) time.
Please help me give my five and six year old's healthy snacks for their little tummies and brains.
Some of my students are in daycare settings. It would be great if they could just reach into their bags and grab a healthy snack whenever they are hungry. Having ready made snacks will also ease the financial burden a tad bit for families who may not have extra money in their food budget for healthy snacks.
