My Students
My students do not have computers so they cannot participate in remote learning. They are falling behind other students because they lack resources to access online lessons and assignments. They deserve better! Please help me provide the necessary tools to help them succeed.
Students are going to use computers to participate in remote learning.
These young children are faced with problems that are even too overwhelming for most adults to handle.
My students come from all different backgrounds, but most come from homes where there are economic struggles. They desperately want to learn and just need the tools to do so.
My Project
The computers in our classrooms are the turn of the millennium relics. They are so old that they often do not work. As an educator, it is my responsibility to ensure that our students have true access to the internet. I am especially excited about having each student in the classroom have access to their own computers. Students will be able to create documents, blog, and put together multimedia presentations. Students will also be able to do research, create and design pamphlets to alert our community about current issues, communicating with other students around the world, writing and publishing their own work and practicing journalism with others to cover stories on social justice topics.
