Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have an amazing group of loving, bilingual students. This year, my students have impressed me in the way they show love and care for each other. My students consistently find ways to help each other and cheer each other up. My students communicate their feelings, thoughts, and ideas with me in a lot of different ways. Some things they write to me in the chat, but in the middle of teaching, I miss some comments. The students always find a respectful way to let me know what their classmates need or offer assistance without my asking.
During these difficult times, I ask that you help me share the love with my students!
My Project
My students are learning about our beautiful city of Chicago! We are learning about different neighborhoods, Chicago's Early day, its beautiful architecture, and more. I have requested paint brushes, canvases, storage containers, and other art supplies for my students to be able to recreate their favorite part about Chicago. My students will be able to demonstrate their knowledge through a beautiful painting. This will allow my students to express their personality and their creativity through their paintings. Each student will be able to showcase to the class their beautiful masterpiece and share with us what they love about our city.
