This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I love that in the midst of these unforeseen circumstances and consistent changes of the school system, our kindergarteners continue to be eager for instruction. They demonstrate patience, resilience, and are still eager to learn even in a huge class population. This is a special class because they are striving and thriving at such a young age throughout a pandemic.
My Project
Many of you may know that several families in the public school district have opted into allowing their scholar(s) to return to the building for in person learning.
We are working diligently to ensure the safety of all.
With that being said, I found a nice desk shield that would provide an extra boost of protection for our students and staff.
Receiving these desk shields, extra masks, and face shields, I believe that they will allow our students to remain in their own safe haven. They can be being socially distant while in the classroom yet, still be able to learn and communicate with peers.
