Help me give my students a color laser printer, Selphy photo printer, toner cartridge and photo ink and paper to be used for individual student and classroom lessons.
"The way we talk to our children becomes their inner voice." - Peggy O'Mara. Our words really do resonate with children. We need to be that positive encouraging voice for children.
I am lucky enough to get to work with every student in my school!
I serve students in whole group classroom lessons and also with individual needs. My elementary school is a neighborhood school in an urban community in Missouri. Close to 60% of our student population receives free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch. The students in my school have wonderful hearts and are full of energy and excitement.
My Project
The materials in this project are going to allow me to reach out and make stronger connections with my school's students, either one-on-one or a classroom at a time.
There's nothing like seeing photos of yourself and your friends.
In these uncertain times of potentially going virtual at any time, they are more important than ever! The color printer and replacement toner cartridge will make handout activities that can be used both in class or virtually pop. Project information will be printed; photos will be taken; and, and then shared as parents are not allowed in the building to see the works of classmates.
I'm excited to print instructions for activities that can be both done either in seat or virtually, and parent connections will be more eye appealing. There are so many ideas and plans for the use of these materials!
The color printer and the photo printer are going to help me have an even greater impact on the amazing students in our school!
