This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach math and science to 3rd-grade students at a Title I campus. My students love to learn new things; technology being number 1 on that list.

Most of my students are second language learners.

Ninety percent of the students receive free or reduced-price lunch.

Their parents work two and three jobs to take care of them. They want their children to have so much more than they have. Education is extremely important. By sharing technology with my students, I show them that there is a future in education.

My Project

As a math and science teacher who is now teaching virtually and face to face a document camera is a crucial part of our education. The Ultra 10 Document Camera will help bring science to life. Students would be able to bring the camera to their desk to demonstrate their learning to their classmates.

Students who are learning virtually often feel left out.

This document camera will bring school to life. Because of the excellent quality of the camera, I would be able to zoom in to the smallest thing and not lose the details.

It also offers cloud recording. I would be able to record lessons that my virtual students may not be a part of. This document camera would bring my instruction to life.
