My Students

My art classes are student-centered with each student taking on the role as artist. Our classroom is our studio space. It is a safe environment that allows each student to explore her personal artistic interests.

My students are a smart, intuitive, and caring group of young women.

They are helpful and hardworking; a lot of it is due to our school's environment. Our main goal is to turn young girls into outstanding young women who are ready to take on the world.

My Project

My students need brand new bottles of acrylic paint, pans of watercolor, and tempera cakes. The materials I am requesting are for a painting program I am developing for students who are ready to tackle a more advanced level of art. We are heading into portfolio preparation for college acceptance and we want to wow prospective colleges with our girls' amazing work.

Your donation will give my students the materials necessary to build a portfolio for entrance into an art college.

Many of my students will be the first ones in their families who are going to college and they are so lucky to have a network of people who support their dreams of working in the art world.
