My students are amazing. They aim high and work hard. They not only learn math to pass standardized tests, but also code, build, and solve a variety of math games and puzzles. For example, they all get taught how to solve a Rubik's cube and they love it and excel at it.
My students and I apply our STEAM and language skills to persevere and prevail no matter how difficult a problem in front of us is because we work as a team - a team that YOU can be an essential part of by donating to us!
My Project
I want to give my students incentives for hard work, positive behavior, perseverance, academic accomplishments, and attendance.
Rewarding students with $5 Amazon gift cards as part of our PBIS program provides them with individualized incentives based on their individualized education plan goals and academic achievements.
Each $5 Amazon gift card will allow me to connect with students on a deeper level and reward them for their efforts during these still challenging pandemic times in NYC. And even more valuable than a $5 Amazon gift card is the recognition, attention, and encouragement that come with it. Sometimes that's what it takes to ignite a spark in a student!
