4th Graders, World Book And Merriam-Webster Join Forces!

Help me give my students updated research materials to complete class projects and assignments. Our current classroom encyclopedias were printed in 1972 and the dictionaries in the 80's. These students deserve the best to achieve success!!

My Project

The largest, most looked-forward to project of 4th Grade is the Wax Museum. My students will be required to research a famous historical or present day figure to represent both in appearance and with a short speech.

This project will require multiple sources to be available to the class in order for each student to personalize the information they will present to classmates, underclassmen, upperclassmen, families & friends that tour the wax museum.

Students will be required to write an informational report to present to the class as well as a short speech which will be repeated each time their button is pressed by a visitor at their station.

An updated encyclopedia set and current dictionaries will be vital to this project and numerous other daily/weekly tasks. It will benefit not only the 2024-2025 class but many future classes as well.
