My Project
Do you like to draw, paint, or sculpt? My students do! . As part of our curriculum, students will explore famous artists such as Van Gogh, Picasso, Warhol and Yayoi Kusama. Through reading, research, and writing assignments, students will learn about these artists' techniques and the cultural significance of their works.
I am seeking donations to provide my 4th Grade students with the essential art materials they need to create their own masterpieces and interpretations of the artists they will study in English Language Arts (ELA).
Our diverse classroom includes English Language Learners, general education students, and students with disabilities, each with their unique learning needs. By participating in this project, students will not only deepen their understanding of Art History, but also develop their creative expression! They will apply the techniques they learn about these artists to create their own paintings, giving them a hands-on experience to connect with the material in a personal way.
With the right supplies—paint, brushes, oil pastels and other art materials—our students will have the opportunity to express their ideas and showcase their learning. Your donations will empower them to turn their artistic visions into reality, and foster a deeper connection to both the art and the English Language Arts curriculum.
