My Project

My students are food motivated especially when it comes to snacks. Most of my students are from a low income family and don't get snacks at home. Some of my students stay after school for tutoring and get hungry during that time.

These snacks will be given out as rewards, when they're hungry, or when they are staying for tutoring.

Not only will these snacks be as described, they are also for times when we have tests. The snacks keeps them motivated and awake throughout the assessments. Some actually save them as an award for themselves when they finish their assessments. I have seen some saving their snacks to bring home to their younger siblings.

The TPT gift card will help me purchase additional resources needed to enhance my students' understanding of how important it is to have healthy snacks. There are so many lessons and materials to help students learn and be engaged.
