My Students

When I step in front of my classroom at the beginning of the day and look at my students, I know that a great day awaits me. My students greet me with smiles, questions, and eager faces; they are ready to learn, and I am ready to teach them all that I can.

My students are incredible, curious, adept, and capable learners.

My students speak different languages (over 19 languages at our school) and all have tremendous talent to share with each other. My students jump into their daily learning with zeal. They work together, laugh together, learn together, and share everything in their classroom community.

My Project

We are experiencing a remarkable world of scientific discovery every day. We are seeing amazing discoveries from ancient life on Earth to rovers on Mars! Our students love science! Our school will be putting science at the heart of the school curriculum in the 2021-2022 school year and we need the equipment to do it!

It's time to explore science with microscopes!

Help me create a scientific lab/classroom complete with lab coats and microscopes to help students do experiments, explore plant life and objects at a microscopic level! Students will work in groups to do exciting experiments using their microscopes, complete observation notes and data collection, and make predictions based on the data they gather. As the teacher, I will use a specialized microscope that attaches to my computer to demonstrate the microscopic slides on my computer and smartboard so that students will follow the science lesson in time with their group work.

Students will walk into their own transformed science classroom each day and become scientists by putting on their lab coats, and participate in a day full of science lessons, lab work, experiments, and scientific discovery! Please help our class become the ultimate 4th-grade science lab with microscopes and lab coats!
