Our classroom is apart of a very small Title 1 school called Keolu Elementary. Our school is located in Enchanted Lakes on the Windward side of Oahu. Keolu has one grade per grade level with around 150 students in total. My fourth grade classroom has 22 students and is a full inclusion classroom. My students are a very active, positive, and happy bunch. They are always wanting to learn more! Our class is currently working on our organizational skills in and out of the classroom to help them become more successful students.
My Project
The materials being requested, wobble chairs and book bins, will not only help my students focus in class but will also give our classroom books a proper home in our library.
The wobble chairs will help my attention struggling students focus during lessons by giving them the ability to move and fidget without distracting the rest of the class.
The book bins will help our classroom have a proper library system to better organize our books. We currently do not have an organized system and I believe that these bins will help us accomplish that.
These materials will not only help my students become organized and assist with on task behavior, they will also help my students succeed in our classroom.
