My Project
Our fourth grade students will spend the year exploring energy and motion, electricity, light and heat, animal and plant adaptations, the rock cycle, erosion, & natural hazards.
Students will participate in a series of hands on activities to better understand all of these phenomena.
Students will create roller coasters to explore motion, they will build pipe cleaner structures that will withstand an "earthquake" and much more.
The goal of this project overall is to provide our students with hands-on science opportunities, which will foster engagement and a longer term understanding of the content.
