Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a New York City public school teacher, challenges are thrown at the teachers as well as the students on a daily basis. In order to overcome those challenges, I need to make sure that the classroom is an organized environment. My students are all very different and have their own unique personalities that bring a lot to our classroom! All of the students have different needs and I have to make sure that all of their needs are being met. I am currently working in a 4th grade integrated co-teaching classroom. Each day is a new and exciting experience in my classroom.

My students always come into class with a smile and energy ready to learn and grow.

I teach them that anything is possible and to make sure they always do the best that they can do. Our students have high energy and they like to move, they love to read and love lots of positive attention. Each day is a new challenge that we all tackle together.

My Project

Having new learning materials help all students have a better learning environment. Organization is extremely important in the classroom. We teach the students to be organized with all of their materials so that they are more successful. Our classroom also has to be organized with materials for the students to have a better learning environment.

We teach our students to strive for the best and to be the best that they can possibly be.

With that being said, I want to make sure they have materials available to them to use in the classroom so that they will have a successful learning environment.
