Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are hardworking and motivated learners.

My students go to school in an urban environment.

They have a wide variety of academic and social needs that we try to meet daily, but they never give up. The school is very welcoming and focuses on developing the students academically and socially.

My Project

My students are working in centers to tackle specific areas they need to work on. We work in centers in both ELA and Math. They will be able to develop fluency with two sets of Reading for Fluency Readers. The organization system will keep their center materials organized and allow them to choose which centers will help them meet their goals.

This project will help my students work more independently in their centers.

My students enjoy the independence that centers allow them to have.
