Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
These are unprecedented times. Never did I imagine that when my students and I said goodbye on March 16th it would mean that it was our last day in the classroom. However, the year is not over yet!
My students and I have embarked on the distance learning journey!
We are actively engaging in all sorts of different online platforms and learning new things. My students and I participate three times a week in Zoom meetings to go over new material, and to check in with each other. In addition, I am recording lessons at home for them to view and continue to learn new material. I am amazed by their level of engagement and participation, and families' willingness to try new things.
My Project
Please help me give my students learning materials for home and distance learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students are not able to leave their homes due to the quarantine in New Jersey. My student needs a variety of math and science materials and hands-on learning materials.
So I asked for counting bugs manipulative's to mail to each student.
Our study is insects/bugs also large pictures help my students with visual learning on zoom.
A big part of my job is to make sure students have what they need to succeed, and I know from hearing from parents that the need is great for school supplies. Without supplies work will not be attempted nor completed. We are in desperate need of assistance for our families; especially those out of work.
