This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students at my school are so eager to learn and grow. They are always excited when they learn new things and are able to apply them to the real world. I just love my students!
At my school, all students qualify for free breakfast and lunch due to federal funding for low socio-economic schools.
I work with some amazing students. I want them to know that school is a safe place for them. They make me enjoy being their teacher and watching them grow.
My Project
With the COVID-19 pandemic interrupting the year, it has been very difficult on many of my students. I know that through this, many of my parents have lost their jobs or have less money coming into the household. By providing school supplies to my students, I will be able to help reduce the amount of stress some of the parents may feel.
These school supplies can help my students start the year off right.
We will be able to stay organized with the folders and keep track of our learning with the composition books and pencils. We have so much learning to do next year!
