I teach and learn with 24 eager kindergarten students who live in a low-income, high-poverty area where they face many challenges in their daily lives, but they love school. Virtual School is just not the same. They need to be in school. They would come into our school building every day ready to learn and excited about what is in store for them. When we finally re-open they will be so excited to come back !
It is my goal to keep them excited about school even while they're away from school.
My Project
These Magnetic Word Making Centers would be perfect for my guided reading groups! My students love joining me for Guided Reading groups each day. During this instruction, we often build words, explore word patterns and write simple sentences while learning how to read. The double-sided magnetic write & wipe board will allow students to use this kit in various different word activities while learning to manipulate letters and sounds. While working with these magnetic word kits my students will be able to manipulate letters to make words and write simple sentences. The built in storage compartments comes packed with all the supplies the kids need, so we are always ready to work!
