My Students

My school has a dynamic learning environment where we empower all students to become independent thinkers.

My Pre-k class is creative, curious, and talented individuals.

They love to share and are hungry for knowledge! I work with amazing students that come from a variety of backgrounds. They love coming to school everyday and learning, and I want to ensure they have all the necessary materials to be successful not only at school but at home, as well. I and my co-teacher have the same goal in mind: we don't want to manufacture pupils who memorize and repeat back what they learn. Instead, we want to help creative, insightful, passionate young learners find their way.

My Project

My students continue to become better readers each and every day but we need new books! Most of my classroom library is comprised of books for younger students with a lot of pictures. The children this year is reading and needs better books on their level.

I would like to get books for my classroom library at more challenging levels than I currently have.

The books I am requesting are both engaging and more challenging for my higher readers. This would enable my students to be more interested in the books that I have available for them to read. It would make a huge difference in my students' lives as they love to read!
