My classroom made up of 20 Kindergarteners. Each day they arrive with individual needs that need to be met. Some students arrive hungry, some tired, some with learning disabilities and many dealing with trauma. As their teacher, I strive to meet as many of their needs as possible so that they are ready to "grow their brains" and learn to love school. Our classroom community works hard each day to do the best we can with what we have been given.
My Project
This project will provide wobble stools for our classroom. This year I have been transitioning our classroom into a flexible seating classroom. These wobble stools would help complete our classroom seating and provide the wiggliest learners the opportunity to wiggle and learn during both whole group and independent instruction. This project will impact many students for years to come. This project also includes organizational tubs for our classroom centers. Centers are an important part of our daily learning. Students utilize centers multiple times throughout the day. My students and I really appreciate any amount you are able and willing to contribute.
