My Project

The 4-H gardening club.

Is to teach the students how to grow their food.

From start to finish.

They will plant their seeds.

Take care of the garden.

Harvest the plants and then cook with the things that are harvested out of the garden.

This way

It is teaching the students the importance.

Of growing your food. And what it takes as well as where it comes from.

And how to utilize them. It is a great way to get the students back outside playing in the dirt.

Connecting with the Earth.

And having fun while doing something great!

Ms. Hawkins McLendon Elementary School Grades 3-5
