My Project

For the next school year, I will be returning back to the classroom to teach third-graders for the second time. I was fortunate enough to provide students with the materials they need to succeed in order to make sure no one feels left out or stressed out about buying their own materials. I want students to feel a sense of excitement about a new school year and have the resources they need to succeed. I am requesting your help to support my classroom with restocking materials that students will need for the new school year.

These new students will begin their journey through 3rd grade and the resources I have chosen give an opportunity for students to feel a sense of belonging, independence, and leadership in the classroom.

Many students celebrate their birthdays during the school year and I want to make sure students are celebrated and appreciated on their birthdays. Therefore, I included birthday crowns, birthday pencils, and birthday bracelets so students are celebrated their birthdays and feel a sense of community with their peers. I have students' self-esteem grow and have helped kids foster and develop strong social skills with their peers. It creates incredible positive memories for the students.

Washable markers and dry erasers give students a chance to work creatively in the classroom. Students are continuing to draw, color, and create. I want to provide students with art supplies that help them grow as artists and encourage/celebrate their artistic skills.

Additionally, students are continuing to stay organized in the classroom with their supplies and papers. By including the label maker and hole puncher students are independently organized. The label maker will be used to label student pencil boxes and folders so students are organized and keep track of their own work.
