My Students

My third graders are lively, inquisitive and so much fun. This is the age when they are capable of making huge cognitive leaps. They are able to process information and synthesize knowledge in brand new ways.

It is a wonder to nurture and teach them, and watch them grow and develop throughout the year.

This is the age when they begin to focus less on themselves and show more concern for others. There is a rapid development of their mental skills, and they will also learn better ways to describe experiences and talk about thoughts and feelings. I just met my new class of 3rd graders a week ago, and I look forward to getting know each one of them as an individual.

My Project

I would like to use this TpT gift card to explore some teacher created resources. I spend lots of time thinking of new ways to make learning fun for my students. I am always looking for different ways to engage my third graders.

TpT allows me to see what methods, techniques, and materials other teachers have found useful in helping their students learn and grow.

Each person has different strengths and abilities as well as different perspectives. It is great to be able to share ideas with each other. Collaborating with colleagues always enriches our students' learning experiences.
