My students need an Apple MacBook Air laptop for use during learning. We have access to many wonderful websites to enhance our reading, writing, and math skills. These websites engage students at all levels.

My Students

A typically day in my classroom is students are expected to meet rigouros reading and writing goals. Students are engaged in learning but don't always have the materials nessecary to complete tasks. Students are expected to move up reading levels and don't always have the stamina to stay focused. There are many programs that help build students learning. Students reading on a computer helps them stay focused on a book and more students move accross readng levels. Favorite quote "Oh the places you go" Dr Suess Love this quote it inspires students to go many places in their learning.

My school is a Title 1 school.

Many students come from low income families and dont have access to technology. My school expects rigouros instructions that involves hands on learning and ways to engage students. Since our families are low income families we have a hard time getting neccessary resources. Also, students aren't exposed to certain things at home, so are enlighten by technology in school. We also have a some learners that have english as a second language that benifits from multiple ways to learn.

My Project

We have access to many great websites that can push students reading levels. I will use this laptop for students to be able to use MYON, which is a reading programs that gives students access to books on many levels, and in many different genre. We also have access to a math program called Mathletics. We students can practice mathematical concepts.

Donors will give me the opportunity to expose to students to programs that are more engaging to students The more the students are engaged the more they will succed.

Students will be so excited to learn!!
