Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our youngest learners love playing with their hands this year. Sensory/messy play is our favorite type of play! We have found that playing with our hands and engaging multiple senses helps our students regulate their bodies, emotions expand their vocabulary, and builds on their motor skills.

I would love your help in providing our little ones with new tools to help them explore their senses.

A new sensory table will allow for us to create different experiences throughout the year based on our units of study. For example, when learning about plants, children will be able to use dirt, water and seeds to create mud as well as a play garden. When learning about our sense of touch, children will be able to explore the differences between regular play sand and Kinetic Sand.
