Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
For this proposal, I am requesting a variety of items for our sculpting and art therapy moments. Items like model magic, paper clay, armature wire, and spray bottles provide endless potential to build, be tactile, work in teams, and create fun whimsical creatures that express emotion or can be used for storytelling. Many of the other items help ease stress and frustration by setting up good procedures. The to-go containers allow each student to have their own paint and not worry about sharing or losing colors, or having to wait and line up for paint. All help create calm and ease in the art room.
