My Students

Each year we have more and more students who have families struggling to make it and who often have to move in with relatives after a job loss. Many also come from military families. The students at our school really want to make good choices and we have a staff that is working to help guide students. Our staff continually goes above and beyond to help their students. The school is based on the idea that we are all part of the same team, and we work towards helping all students. Almost 100% of certified staff work as mentors during their personal time to give students who need extra help the attention they need, whether it is an academic or a personal need. We are working hard to make sure our students are prepared for the future. We have added a MakerSpace and are now working to extend our STREAM clubs.

My Project

Can you imagine having amazing technology that is cutting edge at your fingertips, but you are unable to use due to lack of materials. We have 3D printers, but no filament!

The applications for 3D printing is endless!

Students can create their own inventions, modify existing projects on thingiverse.com, work together in designing projects or work on their own. Some of our projects have included printing a gear for the district's paper towel dispensers, which otherwise they would have had to be totally replaced. The student's also printed out replicas of famous buildings to use as models.

This project provides several colors of PLA filament for our printers, as well as some tools which we need to remove the projects from the build plate.

We would love to get the materials so our students can continue to print.
