My Project

The STEM field is constantly growing and advancing. To build a competitive robot, students need access to the latest tools. However, the primary goal of a robotics program is to provide experiences that prepare students for the workplace or further academic studies.

Before joining an FRC team, many students have never even used a screwdriver, much less operated a 3D printer.

This program has sparked interest and opened doors to STEM opportunities that these students never imagined possible.

As an afterschool program, students face time constraints when prototyping and testing new designs. Having an updated 3D printer is crucial for quickly transforming design concepts into physical prototypes. A 3D printer capable of utilizing carbon fibers would produce more durable parts, essential for meeting the rigorous demands of an FRC match.
