Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would love to have a 3D printer for an upcoming project where students will create and showcase the customs of the Lunar New Year. This hands-on experience will not only enhance their understanding of the holiday but also allow them to express their creativity in a meaningful way. By participating in this project, students will have the opportunity to connect with their cultural heritage and share it with their peers, making the learning experience both impactful and memorable.

My goal for this project is to foster an inclusive environment where students celebrate and learn about the diverse traditions that enrich our community.

I believe this will help them develop a deeper appreciation for their classmates' backgrounds and the significance of the Lunar New Year.

What makes my students special is their enthusiasm and eagerness to learn about different cultures. Many of them celebrate the Lunar New Year, and this project will empower them to take pride in their traditions while learning from each other.
