My Students

Full of wonder and curiosity, this describes the six and seven-year-olds I teach on a daily basis. They are full of questions and soak up the knowledge like a sponge. Seeing the amount of knowledge they acquire in one short year just amazes me! With all of that knowledge and desire to learn more comes supplies that are needed more than ever!

I teach in a district that services students who are a high percentage free and reduced lunch.

They often come to school with just the basic things and it's hard for our families to contribute extra supplies for us to use for learning.

My Project

My students love to work with the technology in our classroom but due to space issues they have a very hard time using it all together easily. A presentation cart that is mobile and can house the classroom laptop, document camera and other necessary equipment will help them use everything with more ease.

Technology use is becoming the forefront of education today.

The more my students can use our classroom technology with ease the better chance they have to get a leg up in today's world. We use the laptop and document camera multiple times daily and being mobile will help us overcome the limits we currently have.
