My Project

Unlike the learning that could be seen from a fourth classroom, learning for children 3 to 5 looks a lot like play. For some cultures, adults playing with young children is not particularly encouraged, but play is a vital part of learning. Play supports multiple aspects of child development including physical, language, cognitive, and social development. The items that I am requesting will support my 2-3 year old students develop appropriately. Some of theses items include books for read aloud, toys that building their fine motor skills, and tools that will build their reading and language skill. It is my duty as early childhood educators to ensure that I support these children from a developmental perspective in order to fulfill my obligation to support them in their individual growth.
