My Project

Unlike the learning that could be seen from a fourth classroom, learning for children 3 to 5 looks a lot like play. For some cultures, adults playing with young children is not particularly encouraged, but play is a vital part of learning. Play supports multiple aspects of child development including physical, language, cognitive, and social development. The items that I am requesting will support my 2-3 year old students develop appropriately. It is my duty as early childhood educators to ensure that I support these children from a developmental perspective in order to fulfill my obligation to support them in their individual growth.
