Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items I’m requesting will support all learners as they learn about the importance of school and explore school systems around the world. After their education study, they will create a book through an arts integration unit involving the illustrations within their books to share with their kindergarten class the importance of school and education. My students are excited to learn and these supplies will support their engagement in writing as they build towards their first published piece of the school year! 2nd grade involves increasing the amount of writing and a closer look at the mechanics of writing.
