My Project

I just started teaching 2nd grade at a beautiful school in North Miami. Last week, I was the second-grade math teacher, but because we lost a teacher to 4th-grade, my class just grew bigger and I now teach all core subjects.

As we know, adaptation is part of our job requirements and with that, I now have to plan and reorganize my classroom to accommodate new students and new content areas.

I am requesting an electric sharpener, pencils, a pencil dispenser, and magnet-building tiles. I will need a lot more pencils than I currently have and to keep the desk organized, a pencil dispenser will be ideal. I also need a heavy-duty sharpener for our classroom. The magnet-building tiles will help students who learn kinesthetically/hands-on with specific math concepts.
