Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My second graders belong to a low-income community in which many challenges are faced on a daily basis. Despite of this, my English Language Learners come to school with a positive attitude always eager to learn and grow. My students are bright, motivated and ready to have a successful school year!

My Project

The materials that I included in this project will contribute to the education of my students by helping them to attain greater levels of reading achievement as they have access to more diverse reading experiences.

My students will practice their comprehension, listening, memory retention skills and enhance their imagination as they enjoy chapter books such as Junie B Jones, Magic Tree House, Judy Moody, The Flat Stanley, Amelia Bedelia and Dog Man books.

Please help my second graders to have access to a rich library so they can continue learning and developing different skills that will significantly improve their educational career.
