My Students

My class consists of 22 amazing students. This year's class is a combination of second and third graders. It consists of three special education students that require a full day one-on-one personal aide. In addition to those students- I have four students that receive speech services, three that have psych services, and one that has adaptive physical education. My school works very hard to provide all students with what they need for success. Every day we celebrate our "glows and grows." We strive to have a growth mindset and take care of one another. We work in and out of the classroom to develop skills that will lead to a lifetime of success.

My Project

My classroom, along with all the other classrooms at our school (RVES) are currently upgrading our campus to help our students. Part of the process is finding a better way for students to be able to see shared information in the classroom. We will do that by installing a large television monitor in each room so that all the students can see lessons on monitors that can be seen easily by all.

Currently, students must view information on outdated equipment that doesn’t always work, making it difficult to conduct shared lessons with the current technology used at school sites.

We think we can do better than that. That’s why each teacher at our campus is conducting a Donors Choose campaign to upgrade their classroom. Your donation is an investment in the education of the students and allows them to better understand and access their curriculum and stay current not only with the needed technology but with current educational trends.
