My Students

With the new school year, brings some new friendly faces! My students are full of love and energy. This year I am teaching in a program in which my students have two teachers in the classroom at all times: a licensed special education teacher (myself) and a licensed speech therapist! My students this year enjoy music, coloring, numbers, puzzles, playdoh, and toys that make noise! They love exploring the different ways to play with toys. They are curious and ready to learn! All of my students are between the ages of 4 and 6.

My wonderful class consists of students with disability diagnoses who receive speech, occupational therapy, and physical therapy.

We have been learning 5 days a week in-person! We are excited to be in school. My new students are entering school for the first time in over a year (they were remote last year)!

With the students return to school this fall (and hopefully a more consistent opening), I am dedicated to making sure their learning experiences are full of joy and fun.

My Project

My wonderful students are all toilet training! In order to ease the process of toilet training, we need gray sweatpants. This will help notify the teachers when a student has had an accident. We also need extra underwear in case of accident. The multiple pairs of sweatpants will help us, because, when a student has an accident, we will have another pair to continue toilet training.

Donating to this project will help student families so they do not have to pay for sweatpants needed for the toilet training.

It will also help us have easy access to a plethora of pants and underwear to keep the toilet training consistent.
