2025 SBES Track and Field Championships

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The javelins will directly and immediately impact learning by being easy to hold, control, and acquire proper techniques for distance throwing. All students including those with disabilities' will benefit most by providing a fun, light weight, low-impact, true track and field throwing event. Including this tool will expose students to more field sports events as they are participating at younger ages and in greater numbers! My students will also develop correct throwing techniques for many sports like baseball, football, cricket, etc., not only skills for distance throwing but also for target throwing and weak side throwing. It will be excellent for throwing skill development and an exact expert tool for building up kids' track and field, and hopefully participating in the USA Track & Field Junior Olympics. With this tool, I can provide that experience for them.
