My Project

These items will specifically be used during our ELA time and variety of read aloud times with my second graders. My goal for this project is to bring applicable content and for students to see a mirror or learn something new while exposed to the content.

My students are special because they come from all around the state and each have a diverse background and culture.

Majority of student are on free and reduced lunch and some even in a housing crisis. These books will allow stability and comfort when seeing themselves in the stories read aloud to them. The connections being made will have a last impact and make learning meaningful during our time together!
