Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Positive self image can be challenging for a growing teen. Creating healthy habits and routines will help our students maintain good hygiene and improve self esteem. Providing our students with toothbrushes, body wipes, and deodorants will allow us to emphasize the importance of oral health and the use of antiperspirant which can prevent bullying and low self esteem. Many of our students have difficulty doing their hair in the morning at home while trying to make it to school on time so hair gel and brushes have been requested to provide our students the opportunity to improve self image and self esteem.

We hope to continue working towards healthy routines for our students revolving hygiene & self care.
