Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

So excited for teaching Third Grade again this 2020 - 2021 school year! I am now seeking resources to provide my third grade students with equal opportunities to be successful in their education. Only this time it will be remotely from their homes.

My classroom consists of diverse and extraordinary scholars!

Most of my students are English Language Learners who come from a low socio-economic background. Many of my students often face challenges in and out of school. Some with academics, others with health issues. But despite these challenges and obstacles, they strive to learn, be kind, and succeed in all that they do!

My Project

The 2020-21 school year will be starting in just a few days. Unfortunately, due to the current world-wide pandemic, it will not be our usual Back to School celebration. We will kick off the school year remotely from our homes.

Many of students do not have the means for the necessary school supplies they will need to have at home.

Supplies such as spiral notebooks will help students keep their work neatly organized in one place. Students will also need writing tools not just for math and writing but also for annotating texts that we will be studying throughout the year.
