This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Thank you for taking a look at my classroom project!! Anything you provide will be appreciated!

I’m planning on having a chill out corner.

I will be teaching freshmen and juniors and will incorporate silent sustained reading and I want students to grab a book they want to read and have a comfy place to hang out. This corner will also be a place where students can regulate their emotions for the students who may be stressed due to triggers or situations.

My school is big on college prep and the college flags can be an inspiration for students to strive for their dream school.

This is my first year teaching so I’m starting from scratch and my list is definitely decoration heavy. I’m very passionate about reading and writing and I hope I can show my students that English does not have to be boring and it is a very important class to be successful in future jobs and careers.

I want students’ works displayed and in order to have that I need class sets of art supplies so students can tap into their creativity.

This list will definitely get my blank canvas of a classroom off the ground and set me up for future years of teaching to come!
