Help Mrs. Lochel

Our children are becoming writer's right before our very eyes! I am a first grade general education teacher that is most passionate about teaching writing. I have 21 first grade students that live in a great area of South Carolina and are subject to many great opportunities.

Reading published books aloud to students that are filled with endless possibilities for teaching writing inspires them and shows them that they can become writer's just like the authors of these books. Showing them the technique, reading like writers, allows them to be confident enough to try these writing styles too.

We are in great need of these books to share with students to give their own writing a purpose...meaning. These are the future authors of our time.

Please provide them with the opportunity to see all that they can see from published authors. Give them a chance to share their experiences through the written word.
