Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The beautiful part about working in an ICT setting is having a diverse group of kids with specialized skills. None of my kids are the same, but they bring a uniqueness to the classroom. From math wizards to future journalist, each student has something to bring to the table. They all want to help themselves be the best they can be. They will have a bright future as long as they remain to keep in mind how unique they are!

My Project

Many of the children in my special education setting have trouble focusing because of sensory issues. These materials will help them and give them a fun environment to learn. Many of my children don’t view education in a positive way. I want to add some flex seating and fidget spinners to help fun, and by adding some technology into our learning curriculum. I try to buy as much as I can, but I can’t do it alone. I currently let my children use one of my personal iPads to help keep them engaged. The tablets will help them learn and grow. It is also a nice little treat for them. This will help me with a smooth running classroom and will also help motivate them to want to learn! I want this to be their best year ever.
