Help me give my students art supplies to bring their school garden to life. My first-grade students need these supplies to paint the rocks, birdhouses, and planter boxes that will be in their garden.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
"We are here to wonder together, share our ideas, influence our community, and improve our world" This is our vision statement that perfectly encompasses the culture at our school. I am fortunate enough to be the instruction coach at a Title 1 school, with a very diverse student population. Our students are from all over the world, including Mexico, Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan. Nearly half of our students speak a language other than English at home.
The diversity of our students contributes to their creativity and their cultural understanding.
These amazing students have helped their local community by designing a play structure at the transitional living center nearby and having a farmers market where they sold student-created projects to help raise money for their school.
My Project
Our first-grade students are working on having an end of year garden show. They are starting their garden from nothing. Students will design, build, grown, and lead tours through their garden for members of our community.
We need these art supplies for students to bring their garden to life.
Students will be painting rocks, birdhouses, and designing beautiful murals on their planter boxes. This garden will not only teach them and give them hands-on learning about plants and native butterflies, but their contribution to the look and feel of the garden will bring them a real sense of pride and ownership of their garden. Please help us bring their garden to life with these art supplies.
