This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level. Each week students pick books from our classroom library according to their reading level and they read at home and in school after reading lessons.
Our students came into the 1st grade without knowing how to read.
Fast forward to April, we are using knowledge acquired from our phonics instruction to read more and more. We need more book options! Can you help us?
