My Students

"Good hit!", "You got this!" These are the encouraging words you hear from these young baseball players at practice or at a game. Just watching these athletes practice hard and becoming a unit is awesome to witness. Our school serves students in pre-k through 12th grade. It provides a challenging curriculum with many extra curricular activities. Since this school is located near a military base, there are families that come from different cultures. Our team is mixed with athletes who are African American, Native American, and Hispanic. The league we are playing in is competitive and we will also play in tournaments. The Bulldog 10U baseball team consists of 12 boys that are in 3rd-5th grade.

"These boys eat, breathe, and live baseball!"

These 12 young boys work hard and whether they win or lose they want to learn from their mistakes and get better. They strive to be the best and just love the game of baseball!

My Project

These young baseball athletes will be able to use these three essential tools while training. A pitching machine, pro swing trainer, and a weighted baseball training glove will be excellent additions to our training equipment. The 10u Bulldog baseball team tries to practice at least twice per week.

The team practices are set up in stations, which include offense, defense, and a skills station.

The weighted baseball training glove helps develop quick hands and bat speed. It is very important to learn how to develop this skill because of dealing with high velocity pitchers. Many of our players are moving up to 12u next season, so its essential they start developing these skills. The pitching machine can be used for defense and offense skills and the pro swing trainer makes the hitter use proper swing mechanics every time.
